Employee consent notice
A plain-language notice you hand to your team before anything is installed. Copy it, put your company name in it, and keep an acknowledged copy. It is the single thing that most decides how a rollout goes.
How to use this
- 1. Replace every highlighted token with your own detail — company name, the work-hour window, who to ask.
- 2. Delete the Field-plan paragraph if you are not using location.
- 3. Distribute it before installation, not after.
- 4. Keep a signed or acknowledged copy for each person.
Telecaller24’s Terms of Service §5 makes this your obligation as the deploying business, and §6 is why: an account used against an individual’s knowledge is terminated without a refund.

We are introducing an app called Telecaller24 on the phone you use for work. This note explains exactly what it does, what it does not do, and what you can control. Please read it and ask us anything that isn't clear.
1. Why we are doing this
We want a reliable record of the calls our team makes, and we want follow-ups to actually happen rather than being lost. Today that record is reconstructed from memory at the end of the day, which is unfair to you and unreliable for us.
2. What the app records
- The phone number, direction (incoming or outgoing), date, time and duration of work calls.
- Whether a call connected, was missed, or was not picked up.
- Any status, tag, note or follow-up time that you enter yourself.
- Basic technical information about the phone (model, Android version) so we can fix problems.
3. What it does NOT record
- It does not record or listen to any call. No audio is captured, at any time, by anyone.
- It does not read your messages, WhatsApp, photos, email or anything you browse.
- It does not upload your personal contacts.
- It does not track your location outside working hours. [If on the Field plan: location is recorded only between [start time] and [end time] on working days, and is switched off at all other times, including evenings, Sundays and holidays. If not on the Field plan: location is not recorded at all.]
4. Your personal calls stay personal
You can mark any number as excluded — family, your doctor, friends, anyone. Calls to and from an excluded number are filtered on your own phone and are never sent to the company or visible to any manager. You add these yourself, in the app, and nobody is notified which numbers you have excluded.
We would encourage you to set these up on the day you install the app.
5. Who can see what
- You can see all of your own activity in the app.
- Your manager and the account administrators can see work-call activity for the team.
- Nobody outside [Company name] can see it, other than the software provider's support staff where that is necessary to fix a problem.
6. What it is used for — and what it is not
We will use this information to understand workload, to make sure leads are followed up, and to support and coach the team. We will look at trends and at follow-ups, not at individual conversations, because there are no conversations to look at.
It will not be used as the sole basis for any disciplinary decision without a conversation with you first.
7. How long we keep it
For as long as you are with us and our subscription is active. If you leave, or if we stop using the app, the data is deleted in line with the provider's policy.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and raise a concern at any time. Contact [name, role, email].

Questions your team will actually ask
Answer them the way they are asked. Hedging here is what makes a team suspicious of a tool that has nothing to hide.
“Can they hear my calls?”
No. Telecaller24 does not record audio at all — it is not a feature that exists in the product, so it cannot be switched on.
“Can they see my WhatsApp?”
No. The app has no access to message content of any kind.
“What if I call my family from this phone?”
Add the number to the excluded list and those calls never leave the device. You do this yourself and nobody is told which numbers you excluded.
“Will they know where I am on a Sunday?”
No. On the Field plan, location is recorded only inside the work-hour window your employer configures, and stops outside it. On the Track and Pro plans no location is recorded at all.
